Quan Yin
This fine art pigment ink print on 100% cotton rag archival paper is an original watercolour painting by Dharshi de Silva. One of Dharshi's favourite paintings created by her, the artwork shows a beautifully serene goddess holding two bottles in her hands. The etheric substance that flow in and out of her bottles is compassion. Compassion is an emotion that cannot be taught; you either have compassion within your heart, or you do not. Quan Yin is a goddess of compassion; she gives compassion to others so that once it has touched their heart, they know what it feels like to hold compassion within them. How to care for your Art work
An eco-print painting does not fade as long as you treat it like a watercolour painting. It is essential to keep it away from direct sunlight and maintain low humidity in the room. Using an LED spotlight to illuminate the canvas is best, as extended exposure to fluorescent lighting can fade the colours. Additionally, the paintings are treated with several layers of art-grade matte fixative, which helps protect them. However, like with any fine art, it is advisable not to touch the canvas unless absolutely necessary.
