This fine art pigment ink print on 100% cotton rag archival paper is an original oil painting by Dharshi de Silva. Transition means the process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another.
Dharshi feels that a life worth living is the one that is continuously open towards transitions and change is welcomed and not feared. For many, change, which is life being pushed off a cliff, it is unwelcomed. For Dharshi, the unwanted change is seen as a transition into something that had not even entered her previous line of vision or had imagined for herself. If she views the adverse as a negative from her limited perspective, then she is no longer open to the limitless possibilities that the transition or stepping into the unknown could bring her. Every negative and painful experience has the potential to transform into a cloud with a silver lining. The silver lining does not take away from the potential pain you might have felt from the negative experience, but it does help you open an entirely new dimension to how you experience life.
