Hoo Gallery Artwork

Flying Blue

This is an archival ink print of an original mixed media collage by Dharsi de Silva. It is a limited edition print of twenty. Once this print edition is sold out, it will never be reprinted again.

Inspired by Ghibli Studio animations, Dharshi decided to create 'The Kids Collection' for children and for the child at heart! These colourful and joyful images are at an affordable pricepoint and will work in any style of home, in a gallery style format or on its own. This range of art will be loved by young children and teenagers, especially children who are imaginative, love to read fantasy, manga or fairytales. Dharshi makes each image with consideration and passion; her art always carries a deeper meaning or narrative. • How to care for your Art work

An eco-print painting does not fade as long as you treat it like a watercolour painting. It is essential to keep it away from direct sunlight and maintain low humidity in the room. Using an LED spotlight to illuminate the canvas is best, as extended exposure to fluorescent lighting can fade the colours. Additionally, the paintings are treated with several layers of art-grade matte fixative, which helps protect them. However, like with any fine art, it is advisable not to touch the canvas unless absolutely necessary.
