Ying Yang of the Mind
This piece is the largest eco print painting created by Dharshi to date. It is a piece that would take centrepiece in any room and become a talking point. The print was created with hundreds of camellia flowers as it took two goes at steaming the flowers to get the depth of field that Dharshi was searching for. She was striving to have some flowers seem more prominent and, therefore, more intense in colour to give a sense that others, in contrast, are lighter in tone and more neutral in hue to appear as if it is floating away. The painterly effect is achieved by the use of soft pastels and charcoal sticks to also make it appear like they belong in a cave belonging to the Paleolithic era!
The works measure at an impressive dimensions: 1600x2460
