Losing My Mummy Folds!

Updated: Jul 26, 2020

Every mother battled with losing their post-baby weight...um unless you are an underwear model working for Victorias Secret i.e. not unlike Heidi, a.k.a. Seal's ex, who gave birth and was on the runway like three months later people! Insane!!

Any Whooooo? This is the account of my experience trying to lose all the lovely floppy bits that minions as myself have to put up with post-baby.

This is me before giving birth to my fourth child! HUGE-MONGOUS!

I won't show you a picture of my post-baby bod but trust me I'm CHUBBY! It definitely is difficult trying to find time between breastfeeding, changing diapers, cooking meals, busing children etc. to find time to exercise, especially if you have just started blogging in your spare time! ;-) But I think I've found something that seems to work for me although I haven't really been that consistent with it. If I trust my hubbies comments, I could believe that I'm beginning to lose some weight!

Magic Fix for Losing Mummy Folds in Four Easy Steps:

  1. Walk( whenever you can, every time, preferably uphill!) I usually try to walk to pick up my kids from school but now that the girls are old enough to walk back by themselves, I do get lazy.

  2. Pilates. The Winsor Pilates 20 Minute Workout that is on YOUTUBE is excellent. I pretty much regained my body every time after giving birth to my other children within say six months. I've been told that it works well to strengthen those pesky pelvic floor muscles.

  3. Karate. I haven't had an opportunity to do any YET but along with a proper balanced and healthy diet, I had a banging body lest for a wee little while between child #2 and child #3. It was awesome fun too but sadly a distant and happy memory now.

  4. Breast Feeding. Who knew breastfeeding helps to lose pounds! Eazzy! It's worth sticking to breastfeeding even if its a struggle sometimes.

Having written all of this down, I'm feeling muy guilty (this means very in Spanish and guilty in English lol) that I haven't worked out today...so um write your own blog. Bye!
